There are MANY electronic devices used in healthcare, from hand scaners for inventory control of medicines, to EKG machines, to MRI and CT scanners. Many of these are life saving devices…and they contnue to evolve almost daily. All of these carry some risk by their use - although their benefit, especialy in a life threatening situation may justify the potential harm due to EMF's. Educating yourself on what each of these devices do, and what the hazards of their use are is the best way to ensure your safety. The list here is by not means comprehensive. Don’t be afraid to request a safer option, however, don’t be surprised if the physcian or team providing your care uses the device that they are familar with.
